Winter fashion trends you need to know about

The weather is getting colder, and the Christmas bulbs light up the streets at night. Admitting, not everyone is a fan of the darker days, but it can be quite cozy when you take shelter with your beloved friends. However, you can’t stay inside forever. No doubt that you’ll be wearing your favorite coat and scarf when you are going outside. But underneath all these layers, we expect you to dress to impress.

And luckily for us, the fall/winter runways did not disappoint. We are talking sequin, fuchsia, lingerie dressing, uniforms, mismatching, and decadent after-dark dressing all shown on the coolest, prettiest girls in town. On the other hand, the most viral item for this winter is probably Prada’s basic white tank. How ironic, the most summery item that you could think of will be on winter wish lists. Curious about what else you can add to your imaginary shopping cart?  We’ve listed our five top winter fashion trends.

1 See-through / show some skin
FW22 produced looks ready for the desire to be seen. You might think that thinner clothes are impractical when the weather gets colder, and we might agree. But who cares, you are probably inside most of the time anyway. Thereby, sheer clothing is also a great opportunity to show off your favorite lingerie and feel powerful. Tip: the new collection of Camille Charrière X Mango.

2 Ugly-chic
Although we appreciate a matchy-matchy style, we are going to get wild this season. Fans include the Hadid sisters. Just don’t take fashion too seriously. Have fun with different materials, styles, and colors. Dress in a way that makes you truly happy.

3 Cut-out
The sexy combination of a beautiful cut-out top paired with a matching bralette is a great way to conquer the world.

4 Leather weather
Feeling nostalgic but ready to be fearless? Biker jackets and full-look (faux) leather are the way to go this season if it’s up to Miu Miu, Prada, Simone Rocha, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga.

5 Maxi skirt
Don’t get us wrong, we still love the micro skirt trend but we also love to get a bit more practical when the days are shorter (pun intended). After the Ganni X Levi’s collab – which included the coolest denim maxi skirt - we totally fell for the maxi skirt again and (luckily) we are not alone.
